Hi All,
 For those of you who have been involved in the Transition Dynamics Tranining Programs over the last four years, you know we have had a variety of "community" set ups. Some worked better than others, but none of them did all that we wanted them to do.
This new community has a number of features that I'm excited about!
- A place for profiles - so we can learn more about each other
- A Community calendar - finally - a place for all of the TD events in one location.
- A easy way to communicate and brainstorm with others who have taken the same trainings you have.
- An easy way for me to showcase the resources that have helped me grow my business over the years.
Welcome! Look around...I'll have some guidelines up shortly to help you take advantage of this powerful community space.

As February begins, I wanted to let you know about events happening this month and a couple of podcast interviews you may be interested in.
Monday, Feb 11th
4 pm Pacific - Seasons of Change Forum - Watch the forum for some preliminary notes about the call.
5 pm Pacific - Marketing Call - This month one of our coaches, Susan Reid, will be a guest speaker. She'll be sharing a free, easy way to get exposure on the web that she's learned as part of her recent virtual book tour! We'll be talking about how to find blogs online that are popular with your target market and how to leave meaningful comments that show your target customers that you have expertise that will help them.
6 pm Pacific - Mentoring Action Group
Wednesday Feb 20th
1 pm Pacific - Transitions SIG - If you're an ICF member and you'd like to attend, let me know.
A couple of interviews you may be interested.
Interview 1: Susan, mentioned above, interviewed me for her blog/podcast last month. She posted it today. Her podcast is called Accidental Pren-her Show, Stories of the Unexpected. During the interview I talk about how I started my business and how I got the clarity for my new venture Green Career Central.
Susan's blog and her recent book are great resources for learning how to listen to your own inner voice as you build your business. Her new book is called Discovering Your Inner Samurai: The Entrepreneurial Woman's Journey to Business Success. I highly recommend the book.
Interview 2: Later this week, Jeff Cadwell, a recent Seasons of Change graduate, will interview me on his radio show, “The New You” Radio Show with Cher & Jeff. On this show, Navigating Weight Loss Transitions with Grace, I'll be talking about the Seasons of Change and weight loss transitions. Even if your focus isn't weight loss, you may be interested in hearing me "in action."

Welcome to a New Year!
The Transition Dynamics Online Community is now ready to go. In introducing the community, I've heard a few questions. Let me answer those.
1) What's the Online Community for?
The Transition Dynamics Online Community is designed to be the hub of all of the coach training programs and support forums.
~~ We've got direct links to all the resource areas (no more missing bookmarks) - including a complete set of training audios so you can refresh your knowledge.
~~ We've got a calendar of all TDE events
~~ We've got discussion forums for SOC coaches and Clarity/Career Clarity coaches so that you can ask questions and get support from me and your peers.
~~ We've got a resource section with links to a wide selection of resources you can use to build your business.
~~ We've got an area for the marketing calls, the Seasons Forum, and the Clarity Forum with the audios from last year and the schedule for this year.
~~ We've got the Flourish Notes. I'll use this area to pass along business building ideas that come to me. It might be a resource, a marketing tip, or a mental perspective to bring success.
2) Why Should I Get Online?
This online community will be our main communication system. With nearly 100 coaches in overlapping groups, communicating with the right people about the right opportunities is getting a bit challenging. With the online community I can make an announcement to a particular subgroup without bothering everyone else or sending out duplicate emails to half of the people!
Another benefit is that we have a phenomenal group in this community. As we use the online community, you'll gain insights, support, and ideas by communicating with others using the Seasons of Change and the Clarity materials.
From this point forward, new coach trainees will access all their class materials on the online community so they'll be accustomed to this system from the start.
As an established coach, you are transitioning to this online community from another course format. I know switching to a new online system takes some getting used to AND I ask that you take a few minutes to log in so you know what this system is like.
If you need help getting online, just email me and I'll get you set up in less than ten minutes.
When you have made it online...click around. You can't break it. Discover how it's organized. Remember your Back button...the Portal button (takes you to the home page)...and the words Transition Dynamics Communities right under your name (shows you a list of all of your forums.)
In my next announcement, I'll give you instructions on how to add a post to the online community.

Hi Everyone,
Wanted to take a moment to welcome you to the Online Community!
After several months in the making, the time has finally arrived to bring this community to life.
The first step, which we are working on this week, is to get everyone who is eligible signed onto the community. Please follow the welcome packet to set up your profile.
The second step will be to introduce you to each of the forums that you are on. As the month progresses I'll be talking about the forum in each of the forum calls and the training calls.
If you have any technical questions, please don't hesitate to contact Susan Sullivan, our program manager. She's used a similar forum before and can help you get set up.
I'm looking forward to connecting with you online in the forums. If you have a question, resource, or need for support, please put it out to the appropriate forum. That way you can hear my response, but you'll also no doubt hear from others who have something to add.
One more detail...we are still updating the Seasons of Change, Clarity and Career Clarity forum pages with audios and such. We'll let you know when those are completed.
