Clients in Transition Article
"A miracle comes quietly into the mind
that stops an instant and is still."
A Course in Miracles
This one sentence is the essence of the Winter
Solstice phase of The Seasons of Change.
The Winter Solstice phase represents the turning point
in a client's transition journey. It is during this
"dark night of the soul" that the mind surrenders
into
not knowing the answer. The mind comes to a stop--no
spinning, no searching, no scrambling to fix, solve
or figure it all out.
At this point, the mind is still. In the moment.
Trusting. Open and receptive.
It is within this context that miracles come
into form. They don't show up on command, when
demanded or when someone is convinced they already have
an
answer. They come quietly when it's time, when they
can be heard, when the mind is still.
The miracle that opens your client up to a
new life may be in the form of an insight, a new perspective,
a new idea. The miracle may show itself in
a newly discovered pattern, a previously unseen thread,
or a key dream image. OR the miracle may come in the
form of finding a pivotal book, having a chance encounter
with a key person, or connecting with a powerful Transition
Professional like yourself.
Take a moment to be still this Winter Solstice
(December 21st) -- who knows what miracles may be in
store for you!
